About the recipe ‘Coconut Toast’
Today we are going to make a very delicious and sweet recipe ‘coconut toast’ which is made by all the available ingredients at our home. This coconut toast is a dessert recipe which can be taken after meal or dinner or in breakfast which and can be made within 10 minutes very easily.
- Bread slice = 6 pieces
- Coconut powder = 1 cup
- Sugar = 1 cup
- Green Cardamom powder = 1/2tsp
- Oil =for frying
Method for preparing coconut toast-
For making coconut toast, we have to cut bread slices into 4 pieces.
Take a pan, add 2 cup of water (from which you have measured sugar) along with the water, and add sugar in it for making sugar syrup.
Let the sugar and water boil.
When sugar is completely dissolved in the water, let it cook for 5 minutes more and add green cardamom powder in it.
Take another pan, add oil into the pan and heat it.
After heating the oil, add bread slices into the oil and fry them until the color of the bread slices changes into golden in color. It will not take more than 10 minutes.
After frying all the bread slices, pour them into the sugar syrup for 1 to 2 minutes only. We cannot let the bread soft as we are making coconut toast, so we can settle the bread slices like toast.
Flip the bread slices for 1 to 2 times into the sugar syrup so that the sweetness of the sugar syrup can be absorbed by the bread slices.
Now dip all the bread slices into the coconut powder, so that the powder can stick onto the bread slices from all the sides.
Your coconut toasts are ready to serve.
Serve them into the plate and enjoy your coconut toast.
