Chutney Bread Bites Recipe A perfect evening snack which you can easily make at home with all the available ingredients in your kitchen. They are crispy and lip smacking bites, usually kids are a fan of this kind of snacks, so if you want to give them something delicious in lunch box, you can give these bites. Let’s know how to make it.

Necessary Ingredients For Chutney Bread Bites

For Chutney

  • Mint leaves = 1 cup
  • Coriander leaves = a handful
  • Green chilies = 2
  • Ginger = 1 inch piece
  • Garlic = 6 cloves
  • Cumin seeds = 1/2 tsp
  • Lemon juice = 2 tbsp
  • Black salt = as per taste
  • Salt = as per taste
  • Onion = 1, small size, roughly chopped
  • Water = as required

For Bread Bombs

  • Brown bread or white bread = 10 slices
  • Garlic = 3 cloves, chopped
  • Ginger = 2 inch piece, finely chopped
  • Green chilies = 2, finely chopped
  • Chaat masala powder = 1 tsp
  • Rice flour = 1/2 cup
  • Gram flour = 1 cup
  • Salt = as per taste
  • Red chili powder = 1/2 tsp
  • Oil = for frying

Instructions For Making Chutney

Step 1

Take a blender jar, add all the chutney ingredients in it like mint leaves, coriander leaves, salt, black salt, cumin seeds, garlic, ginger, green chilies, lemon juice and onion. Blend it to a smooth paste by using little water.

Instructions For Making Bombs

Step 1

Take a pan, add chopped bread slices in it and then add all the ingredients like garlic, ginger, green chilies, chaat masala, salt, red chili powder, rice flour and gram flour. Mix all the ingredients well.

Step 2

Now add prepared chutney in it and mix it to make a smooth dough from it.

Step 3

You can also add water if required for mixing the batter.

Step 4

Take a pan, add oil in it and heat it up.

Step 5

Take a bite size portion from the mixture and make a round shape from it. Make all the balls and keep them aside.

Step 6

Now add them one by one in oil and fry them till they turn golden and crisp.

Step 7

Flip them in between for avoid burning. Fry them on a medium flame so that they cooked well from inside.

Step 8

Strain the excess oil and transfer them in a plate. Fry another batch from the mixture.

Finally your chutney bread bites are ready to serve. Serve them hot with sauce and green chutney.
