Necessary Ingredients Required For Chutney Bombs
- Potato = 1, cup, boiled and grated
- Flattened rice or poha = 1/2 cup, soaked for 15 minutes
- Cottage Cheese or paneer = 1/2 cup, grated
- Cumin seeds = 1 tsp
- Chaat masala = 1/2 tsp
- Red chili powder = 11/2 tsp
- Salt = 1/2 tsp or as per taste
- Bread crumbs = 2 bread
- All purpose flour = 2 tbsp
- Oil = for deep frying
Instructions For Making It
Take a bowl, add grated potatoes and add poha in it.
Now add cottage cheese, cumin seeds, chaat masala, red chili powder and salt. Mix all the ingredients well.
Make sure that you have mix this mixture well. If not so, then while making chutney bombs, they will break in oil.
Mix it in a way that it becomes in a dough like consistency.
Keep this aside.

Ingredients Required For Making Chutney
- Coconut = 1/2 cup
- Green coriander = 1/2 cup
- Ginger = 1/2 inch piece
- Garlic = 7 cloves, chopped
- Lemon juice = 1 tbsp
- Salt = as per taste
Instructions For Making Chutney
Take a blender jar, add all the ingredients of chutney like coconut, coriander, ginger, garlic, lemon juice and salt.
Blend it to make it a chutney.
You will not have to add water in it. Id do so, then chutney will not become as a thick stuffing.
If it is not blending without adding water then add only 1 tbsp of water and blend it. Keep this chutney aside.
Process of Making Chutney Bombs
Take a bowl, add 2 tbsp fine flour in it and make a paste from it by adding water in it.
Grease your hands with oil and take a small portion from potato dough and make a ball from it.
Flatten this ball with your palms and add chutney stuffing in it. Cover the sides of the mixture and make a ball from it.
Make all the bombs with the similar process.
Take a pan, pour oil in it and heat it up.
Now take a ball, dip it into a flour mixture.
Now coat that ball in bread crumbs. This step is very important, otherwise your bombs will be break in oil.
Roll coated balls in your hands so that bread crumbs will stick evenly on bombs.
Make all the bombs like this.
Add them in medium hot oil and fry them till they turn golden brown in color and crispier.
Shake off the excess oil and fry the remaining bombs with this process.
Your chutney bombs are ready to serve. Serve them hot with sauce.
