Chocolate Cookies Recipe A perfect snack for kids and nothing is more good when it is healthy too. So here I am sharing a recipe of chocolate cookies which is made with wheat flour. They are so delicious in taste and you can also store them in a container for about a month as well. Also I am making it in a kadai, so let’s know how to make it.
Necessary Ingredients Required For Chocolate Cookies
- Wheat flour = 3/4 cup
- Butter = 3 tbsp
- Ghee = 2 tbsp
- Powdered sugar = 1/2 cup
- Coco powder = 1 tbsp
- Milk = 1 tbsp
- Baking powder = 1 tbsp
- Choco chips = as required
Instructions For Making Cookies
Firstly in a mixing bowl, add butter (butter must be at room temperature) and ghee in it and whisk it well by using hand whisker till it turns creamy and smooth. If you do not have electronic mixer, then you can also use wire whisker.
Further add powdered sugar in it and again whisk it for 30 seconds so that sugar gets mixed well.
Then add wheat flour, coco powder, baking powder and milk. Mix all the ingredients well until everything gets evenly combined.
Now knead a smooth dough from the mixture.
Once your dough is ready, check whether it is ready for making cookies or not. To check, take a portion from the dough and then flatten it, if it breaks then add more milk and knead it again. But if gets too sticky, then add some dry flour and knead.
Cover it with and keep aside for 10 minutes.
Now in a cake mould, grease it with butter or ghee. Take a wok, add a wire stand in it and then cover the lid of a wok. Put it on a medium flame and pre heat it for 10 minutes.
Till then, start making cookies. Pinch small portion from the dough and make a small ball of it, then flatten it between your palms. If you have a cookies cutter then you can also use it. Make all the cookies.
Put these cookies on mould and then add choco chips on top, press them slightly so that they sticks in it.
Add this mould to the pre heated kadai on a stand and cover the lid.
Bake it for about 15 minutes on a medium flame.
After the mentioned time, remove the lid and take out the mould carefully.
Finally, your delicious chocolate cookies are now ready to serve. Serve them once they gets cool and enjoy.
