Chicken White Biryani Recipe Hey guys!! Welcome back to the zayka recipe’s kitchen. Today I am sharing the recipe of chicken white biryani which is delicious yet rich in taste. The flvor and taste of this biryani is different from the other chicken biryani. So let’s know how to make it.
Necessary Ingredients Required For Chicken White Biryani
- Chicken = 600 gm, with bones
- Basmati Rice = 650 gm, soaked for 1 hour
- Onion = 2, medium size, chopped and fried
- Green chilies = 5 to 6
- Ginger and garlic paste = 1 tbsp
- Salt = as per taste
- Black peppercorns = 1 6 to 8
- Cloves = 5 to 6
- Cumin seeds = 2 tsp
- Cinnamon stick = 1
- Green cardamom pods = 4 to 5
- Bay leaf = 2
- Curd = 1 cup, whisked
- Nutmeg powder = 1/4 tsp
- Mace powder = 1/4 tsp
Instructions For Making It
Take a pan, add oil in it and heat it up. Further add all the whole spices like green cardamom pods, cumin seeds, cinnamon stick, bay leaf, cloves and black peppercorns. Let them splutter for few seconds.
Further add chicken in it and cook it till the color of chicken changes into white.
Then add ginger and garlic paste and saute well with chicken. Also add nutmeg and mace powder in it.
Take another pan, add oil in it and heat it up, then add chopped onions in it and saute till it turns golden brown in color and then transfer it in a plate for cooling.
Add this fried onion and green chilies in chicken and cook them well for 2 minutes.
Furthermore, add curd in it and mix it. Cover the lid and medium the flame. Let the chicken cook with curd for 15 to 20 minutes. Stir it in between for avoid burning.
Ones the chicken gets cooked well, open the lid and evaporate all the water from it.
Add 2 to 2.5 cups of water in it and then add salt and rice.
Cook rice on a high flame and when boils comes in it, check whether water is enough or not, if it needed more water then add it.
Add lemon juice in it and then cover the lid. Let it cook on simmer.
After 10 minutes, check whether rice gets cooked or not. If rice is not cooked, then cover the lid and cook it for 5 more minutes.
Your white chicken biryani is ready. Serve it hot with raita or chutney.
