Chicken Keema Recipe Here is the another recipe for the chicken lovers. Today I am sharing my mom’s favorite chicken keema recipe. This chicken keema can beat any other recipe easily as the taste of it is just amazing. My mom usually make it in dinner or for lunch also as she loved it. Although while my mom cooks it, I wonder how simply she cooked it and this simple chicken will turn into a lip smacking recipe. I am sharing my mom’s recipe which she used to make. So let’s know how to make it.

Necessary Ingredients Required For Chicken Keema Recipe

  • Chicken = 500 gm, minced
  • Peas = 1/2 cup, boiled
  • Onions = 2, finely chopped in dice
  • Ginger and garlic paste = 2 tsp
  • Green chilies = 3, finely chopped
  • Salt = as per taste
  • Red chili powder = 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder = 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala powder = 1/2 tsp
  • Tomato = 2, pureed
  • Oil = 2 tbsp

Instructions For Making

Step 1

In a pan, add oil and heat it up.

Step 2

Ones the oil gets heated, add chopped onions in it and saute well till they translucent. Do not let them brown.

Step 3

After 3 to 4 minutes, add ginger and garlic paste in it and saute till the raw smell of ginger and garlic disappears.

Step 4

Now add minced chicken in it and mix it till chicken turn into white in color.

Step 5

Then add chopped green chilies in it and peas in it,mix well.

Step 6

Further add all the spices like, garam masala powder, salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder. Add a dash or tablespoon of water so that spices does not get burn.

Step 7

Mix all the ingredients and spices well with the chicken and turn the flame on medium.

Step 8

Cook it till all the spices gets mixed with chicken and then add tomato pure in chicken and cook it well.

Step 9

Cook it on a low flame and cover the lid for 2 to 4 minutes.

Step 10

After some time, open the lid and check all the water disappears from it or not. If not then cook it openly by stirring it for 2 more minutes.

Finally, your chicken keema is now ready to serve. Serve it hot with naan or laccha paratha and enjoy.
