Chicken Kali Mirch Recipe | Black pepper Chicken Curry

Chicken Kali Mirch Recipe Hey everyone!!! How you guys doing??? Today I am back with the new recipe, you guys have surely tried kali mirch chicken in the restaurants. But today I am sharing its recipe so that you can easily make it at home. You guys cannot believe that how easy to make this recipe at home. So let’s know how to make it.

Necessary Ingredients Required For Chicken Kali Mirch

  • Chicken = 600 gm, with bones
  • Onion = 2, chopped
  • Green chilies = 3, chopped
  • Ginger and garlic paste = 1/2 tbsp
  • Green chilies = 2, whole
  • Cashews = 15
  • Green cardamom = 4 to 5
  • Cloves = 4 to 5
  • Cinnamon stick = 1 inch piece
  • Curd = 1/2 cup
  • Coriander powder = 3 tsp
  • Black pepper powder = 1.5 tsp
  • Lemon juice = 1 tbsp
  • Kasuri methi = 1 tbsp
  • Fresh cream = 1/2 cup
  • Garam masala powder = 1/2 tsp
  • Salt = as per taste
  • Black peppercorns = 1 tbsp
  • Oil = 4 tbsp

Instructions For Making It

Step 1

Firstly, take a pan, add 4 cups of water in it and then add chopped onions, cashews and green chilies. Let them boil for 10 to 12 minutes.

Step 2

Now drain all the water and make a fine paste from it.

Step 3

Take a pan, add oil in it and heat it up.

Step 4

Then add cardamom, cinnamon stick, cloves, black peppercorns. Saute these spices for few seconds and then add the prepared onion paste to it.

Step 5

Fry the prepared paste for 10 minutes by continuously stirring it.

Step 6

Further add ginger and garlic paste and cook till the raw smell disappears.

Step 7

Now add chicken in it and fry it well till it turns white in color.

Step 8

Cook it on a high flame for 10 to 12 minutes.

Step 9

Add curd and cook it for 2 minutes. Furthermore, add coriander powder, cumin powder, salt and cook it.

Step 10

Also add black pepper powder and water as required consistency of gravy and cook till oil separates from it.

Step 11

Cover it and cook till chicken completely tenders.

Step 12

Finally, add fresh cream, lemon juice and kasuri methi.

Give it a nice stir, cook for a minute and serve it.

Your delicious kali mirch chicken is now ready to serve. Serve it hot with butter naan or rice and enjoy.
