Necessary Ingredients Required For Chicken Do Pyaza

  • Chicken, curry pieces = 600 gm
  • Ginger and garlic paste = 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder = 2 tsp
  • Curd = 5 tbsp
  • Garam masala powder = 1 tsp
  • Salt = as per taste
  • Coriander powder = 2 tsp
  • Cumin powder = 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder = 2 tsp
  • Tomato = 3, chopped
  • Onion = 3, chopped
  • Green chilies = 3, slit
  • Oil = 5 tbsp
  • Onion petals = 1 onion’s petals

Instructions For Making Delicious Chicken

Step 1

Take a mixing bowl, add curd 1 tsp of red chili powder, coriander powder, salt and ginger and garlic paste. Mix all the ingredients well. Then add washed chicken pieces in it and mix them with the curd mixture. Keep it aside for marination for 30 minutes.

Step 2

After 30 minutes, take a wok add oil in it and heat it up.

Step 3

Add chopped onions in it and saute till onion turns into golden brown in color.

Step 4

Further add tomato puree in it and also add salt, red chili powder, garam masala powder, slit green chilies and turmeric powder. Cook all the spices together till oil oozes from the mixture.

Step 5

Now add marinated chicken in it and mix well.

Step 6

Cook it on a high flame for 5 minutes.

Step 7

Then add 1/2 cup of water in it and mix well. Cover the lid and cook it for 15 minutes on a medium flame.

Step 8

Add onion petals, chopped tomatoes and give it a stir. Cook it on a low flame for 2 to 4 minutes.

Finally, your chicken do pyaza is now ready to serve. serve it hot with naan or chapati or rice as well. enjoy.
