Carrot cauliflower and radish pickle A very delicious and veggie pickle recipe is really amazing in taste. This is really an easy and a tasty recipe of pickle, you can easily make it at home and enjoy it whenever you want. You can also store it for 2 months and enjoy it whenever you want. Use cauliflower florets, carrot and radish, peel them off and wash them well, you can also chop them in any shapes, whichever you want.
Ingredients For Carrot Cauliflower and Radish Pickle
- Cauliflower florets = 1 cup
- Carrot = 1 cup, chopped in thick long slices
- Radish = 1 cup, chopped in thick long slices
- Green chilies = 5 to 6, break them in 2 pieces
- Mustard seeds (raayi) = 1 tbsp
- Red chili powder = 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder = 1/2 tsp
- Salt = 2 tsp
- Oil = 250 ml
- Black mustard seeds (sarso) = 1 tsp
Instructions For Making Pickle
Take a pan, add 4 cups of water in it and add some salt in it. Bring it to a boil.
Now add all vegetables except chilies, add cauliflower, carrot and radish.
Let them boil for 5 minutes.
Strain the excess water and pat dry them.
Now take a pan, add mustard oil in it and heat it up.
Turn the flame off and let the oil cool for sometime.
Add mustard seeds, black mustard seeds, red chili powder, green chilies, turmeric powder and salt. Mix all the things.
Add all the boiled vegetables in oil and mix them well.
After cooling of all the vegetables, put them in a glass jar and cover the lid. Now put this jar in a sunlight for 5 to 8 days.
After 5 to 8 days, your pickle is ready. Serve it with rice and lentils or paratha.
