Carrot Beans Sabzi Recipe Welcome back to the zayka recipes kitchen. Today I am going to share a delicious recipe for lunch which you can easily make within a very less time. As we all are busy in household chores and sometimes we do not have enough time to make lunch, so here I am sharing a quick and easy and delicious sabzi recipe which you can try at home. So let’s know how to make it.

Necessary Ingredients Required For Carrot Beans Sabzi

  • French beans = 300 gm, chopped in small pieces
  • Carrot = 200 gm, finely chopped
  • Tomato = 2, finely chopped
  • Onion = 1, finely chopped
  • Ginger garlic paste =2 tsp
  • Red chili powder = 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder = 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder = 1 tsp
  • Dry mango powder = 1/2 tsp
  • Salt = as per taste
  • Mustard seeds = 1/4 tsp
  • Oil = 1 tbsp
  • Water = 1/4 cup

Instructions For Making It

Step 1

Firstly scratch the carrots and remove the top and little bit bottom part of it. Wash them well and chop it finely. So do with beans.

Step 2

Add them to the pressure cooker with a dash of water and some salt. Cook them till two whistles and then after 2 whistles, remove the lid and release ll the pressure from it. Drain off the water and keep them aside.

Step 3

In a pan or a wok, add oil and heat it up. Then add mustard seeds in it and let them splutter for a while. After adding them, add chopped onion in it and saute till they turn light golden in color.

Step 4

After that, add ginger and garlic paste in it and saute till the raw smell of ginger garlic disappears.

Step 5

Now add chopped tomatoes in it and also add some salt (remember that we have also added salt in beans and carrot while boiling, so be careful while adding it), red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, dry mango powder and mix all the spices well. Add a dash of water and cook spices well till they releases oil from it and tomatoes turn mushy.

Step 6

Further add boiled carrot and beans in it and mix them well with spices. Turn the flame simmer and cover the lid. Let them cook for about a minute or two.

Step 7

Remove the lid now and add chopped coriander in it. Turn the flame off.

Finally your delicious and easy carrot and beans sabzi is now ready o serve. Serve it hot with paratha or chapati and enjoy.
