Butter Paneer Recipe | How To Make Butter Paneer At Home

Butter Paneer Recipe Welcome back to the zayka recipe’s kitchen. Today I am sharing a delicious paneer recipe which is really simple and quick in making. The creamy gravy and flavors of this dish makes your mouth watering while you start making it as it smells damn good. So let’s know how to make it.

Necessary Ingredients Required For Butter Paneer Recipe

  • Paneer = 250 gm
  • Onion = 2 medium size, finely chopped
  • Tomato = 4, medium size
  • Butter = 2 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste = 1 tsp
  • Bay leaf = 2
  • Black cardamom = 2
  • Cinnamon stick  1 inch piece
  • Black peppercorns = 8 to 10
  • Cumin seeds = 1 tsp
  • Kashmiri red chili powder = 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder = 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder = 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala powder = 1 tsp
  • Salt = as per taste
  • Green chilies = 2
  • Sugar = 1/2 tsp
  • Fresh cream = 2 tbsp
  • Oil = 2 tbsp
  • Dry fenugreek leaves or kasuri methi = 1/2 tsp

Instructions For Making It

Step 1

Firstly in a pan , add oil and butter and heat them up. Once they heated, add cumin seeds, bay leaf, black peppercorns, black cardamom and cinnamon stick. Saute these spices for a minute by continually stirring them.

Step 2

Later add ginger and garlic paste in it and saute till raw smell disappears.

Step 3

Now add chopped onions in it and saute till onion turn light golden in color.

Step 4

Till then, add chopped tomatoes in a blender jar and blend them to make a fine puree of it.

Step 5

Once onions cooked well, add this prepared puree of tomato in it and mix it well. Also add other spices like red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and salt. Cook it till oil oozes from the mixture.

Step 6

Then add sugar in it as it gives a beautiful flavor and color to it. Mix well and then add water as per your required consistency of gravy and cook it for about 2 minutes.

Step 7

Now add paneer cubes, garam masala powder and fenugreek leaves in it and mix well. Cook for 2 minutes  on a low flame and then turn the flame off. Finally add cream in it and give it a nice mix.

Here your delicious butter paneer recipe is now ready to serve. Serve it hot with butter naan or rice or chapati and enjoy.
