Bread Upma Recipe It is a south-Indian recipe which is made in breakfast and it is also a healthy recipe. It is a super quick recipe which you can make in breakfast or in snacks. Necessary Ingredients Required For Bread Upma
- Bread = 8 slices
- Mustard seeds or raayi = 1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves = 10 leaves
- Onion = 1, finely chopped
- Tomato = 1, large size, finely chopped
- Green chilies = 3, slit
- Lemon juice = 2 tbsp
- Red chili powder = 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder = 1/4 tsp
- Salt = as per taste
- Shezwan sauce = 1 tbsp
- Sev = 4 tbsp
- Oil = 3 tbsp
Instructions For Making In Simple Steps
Firstly, cut bread slices into small pieces.
Now take a pan, add oil in it and heat it up.
After heating of oil, add mustard seeds and curry leaves in it. Let the, splutter fr few seconds.
Add chopped onions in it and stir it till it becomes soft.
Ones onion becomes soft, add tomato, green chili and lemon juice in a pan and mix all the things well.
Continue to stir it for 2 minutes.
Now add red chili powder, schezwan sauce, turmeric powder and salt. Mix all the things well to combine them.
After it, add 5 tbsp of water in it and mix well.
After 5 to 7 minutes, add chopped bread in it and mix it well with the spices.
When all the spices are coated well on bread pieces, then turn the flame off and add chopped coriander in it. Transfer it in a serving plate.
Your bread upma is ready to serve, serve it hot by adding sev on it and enjoy with you family.
