Banana Chutney Recipe Hello readers!! I hope you all are doing well. Today I am sharing a delicious recipe of banana chutney which goes very well with paratha or samosa or any other side dish. The sweet and spicy flavor makes it more tastier than the other chutney recipes. You can also give this chutney to your kids for the lunch box with paratha, they will surely like it. I also used to have this chutney with nachos or chips as well. So let’s know how to make this unique and delicious chutney.

Necessary Ingredients Required For Banana Chutney

  • Ripe banana = 2
  • Cumin seeds = 1/2 tsp
  • Roasted Coriander powder = 1/2 tsp
  • Chaat masala powder = 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder = 1/4 tsp
  • Red chili powder = 3/4 tsp
  • Roasted cumin powder = 1/2 tsp
  • Salt = as per taste
  • Sugar = 3 tsp
  • Ghee = 2 tsp
  • Water = 1/2 cup

Instructions For Making It

Step 1

Firstly, remove the peel of banana and cut it into small pieces.

Step 2

Now take a grinder jar, add banana pieces into it and then grind it.

Step 3

Take a pan, add ghee in it and heat it up. Once ghee melts, add cumin seeds in it and let them splutter for few seconds.

Step 4

After sometime, add red chili powder, turmeric powder and mix well.

Step 5

Then add banana paste and half cup of water in it and mix well.

Step 6

Cook it for 2 minutes and then add chaat masala powder, coriander powder and mix it again.

Step 7

Furthermore, add cumin powder, salt and sugar and roasted cumin powder in it and mix well.

Step 8

Cook it for more 2 to 4 minutes.

Finally, your delicious banana chutney is now ready to serve. Serve it with paratha or dosa or idli.
