Necessary Ingredients Required For Banana Cake
- Ripe banana = 5 nos.
- All purpose flour = 4 cups
- Baking powder =1 1/2 tsp
- Baking Soda = 1 tsp
- Salt = 1 tsp
- Sugar = 1 cup
- Cinnamon powder = 1 tsp
- Unsalted butter = 3/4 cup
- Vanilla essence = 2 tsp
- Brown sugar = 1/3 cup
- Buttermilk = 2 cups
- Walnuts = 1/2 cup, finely chopped
- Almonds = 1/2 cup, finely chopped
- Fresh cream = 1/2 cup
- Egg = 5 nos.
- Butter paper
To make buttercream frosting
- Fresh cream = 1/2 cup
- Unsalted butter = 250 gm
- Vanilla essence = 1 tsp
- Powdered Sugar = 2 cups
Method Of Making Banana Cake
In a bowl, take the ripe banana and mash them and keep aside.
Take a bowl and add the all purpose flour, baking soda, cinnamon powder, baking soda, salt and mix all together with a whisker and set aside.
Take butter and beat it till it became nice and creamy.
In the butter add both the sugars and whisk it on high speed for 2 minutes until creamed together.
In the butter mixture add the vanilla essence and eggs and beat it on medium to low speed until they combined well.
In the butter and eggs mixture add the mashed banana and beat. Add the dry mixture of sugar and buttermilk and beat it well until it became a smooth mixture.
Finally add the chopped almonds and walnuts and mix well.
Pre – heat the oven at 180 degree.
Take a cake tin and cover it with butter paper and spread the mixture on it.
Place it in the oven and bake for 1 hour.
Till the cake baked, prepare the buttercream frosting.
In a bowl add the butter and beat it till became creamy.
Add the powdered sugar and vanilla essence and beat it on medium speed.
Now add the Fresh cream and beat it for about 5 minutes until it turns into a smooth mixture.
When the cake is baked place it out and spread the buttercream frosting on the top well and cut the cake into suitable pieces.
Your banana cake is now ready to serve, enjoy it with your kids and guest.
