Baingan Pakora Recipe The soft and crispy both at the same time, this pakora is super delicious in taste. Although most of the people does not like brinjal, but if you make pakora of them then I am sure that they cannot resist to have it. A hot cup of tea and a crispy pakora is a perfect combination to have. Some basic spices, brinjal and gram flour, these are the ingredients which you need to make this yummy pakora aka bhajji. So let’s know how to make it.
Necessary Ingredients Required For Baingan Pakora Recipe
- Brinjal/eggplant/baingan = 2 large size
- Gram flour = 1 cup
- Rice flour = 3 tbsp
- Red chili powder = 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder = 1/4 tsp
- Salt = as per taste
- Cumin seeds = 1/2 tsp
- Water = for batter
- Oil = for deed frying
Instructions For Making Eggplant Bhajji
Firstly wash and pat dry brinjal well. Remove the stem of the brinjal and then cut it into round slices or into square shapes as per your preference.
In a mixing bowl, add gram flour, rice flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt and cumin seeds. Mix all the dry ingredients well.
Now gradually add water in the mixture and make a smooth lump free batter. Neither too thick nor too runny in consistency.
Take a wok or a pan, add oil in it and heat it up.
Then take a slice of brinjal, dip it into the batter and coat batter on it well.
Add the coated slice to the hot oil and fry it till it turn golden in color and crisp.
Flip the slices in between so that they cooked even and well from both the sides.
Finally, shake off the excess oil and transfer to the serving plate.
Serve these crispy baingan pakora by sprinkle some chaat masala and enjoy.
