About the recipe- Aloo pyaz pakora is a north Indian recipe which is served with chutney or tea. This aloo pyaz pakora are made with potatoes and onions, they are fried in oil and they are crispier yet delicious in taste. So today I am going to make this pakora in my style, which is very crispy and yummy in taste. I am using very minimum ingredients in it which are easily available at your home. Although, pakoras are very famous in monsoon season. The rain and pakora makes a perfect combination with tea and I love eating pakora in rainy season. Let’s know how to make it.
Necessary Ingredients Required For Aloo Pyaz Pakora
- Potato = 2, large size
- Onion = 3, small size
- Gram flour = 1 cup
- Green chilies = 4
- Red chili powder = 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder = 1/2 tsp
- Cumin seeds = 1/2 tsp
- Salt = as per taste
- Oil = for frying
- Crushed coriander seeds = 1/2 tsp
- Dry mango powder = 1/4 tsp
- Water = as required
How To Make It In Easy Steps
Peel off the onions and potatoes and wash them well.
Now chop the veggies like onion, potatoes and green chilies.
Take a bowl, add chopped veggies in it and then add gram flour, salt, red chili powder, dry mango powder, cumin seeds, coriander seeds and turmeric powder.
Mix all the ingredients well and then gradually add water into it for making its consistency good.
Keep it aside for 5 to 8 minutes.
Now take a deep fry pan, pour oil in it and heat it up on a high flame.
Pour a little portion from the mixture into oil. Add the mixture little by little in a pan.
Turn the flame medium low and fry the pakoras.
After few seconds, flip the pakoras for frying them and fry them unil they turn golden brown color or until they turn crispier.
Now keep them in a plate and do the same procedure with the remaining mixture for making pakoras.
Now your aloo pyaz pakora is ready.
Serve them hot with green chutney or tea.
You can also sprinkle some chaat masala on it.
