Aloo Dahi Vada Chaat Recipe As the month of blessings and forgiveness is start (Ramadan, the religious month of Muslims). I thought of sharing something spicy yet delicious. Everyone who is fasting during Ramadan needs to eat something delicious for Iftar, here I am sharing a delicious recipe of aloo vada which is delicious in taste, I am making its chaat here, the taste of this chaat is amazing. So let’s know how to make it.

Necessary Ingredients Required For Aloo Dahi Vada Chaat

  • Potato = 4, boiled
  • Flour = 1/4 cup
  • Curd/yogurt = 2 cups
  • Red chili powder = 1 tsp
  • Black pepper powder = 1/2 tsp
  • Roasted cumin powder = 1 tsp
  • Salt = as per taste
  • Oil = for deep frying

How To Make Vada

Step 1

Firstly take a mixing bowl, peeled and grate the boiled potatoes in it.

Step 2

Then add salt, flour and black pepper powder. Mix all the ingredients well and then knead a dough from the mixture without adding any water.

Step 3

Take a portion from the dough and make a ball of it. Now press it between your palms and flatten it.

Step 4

Make all the vada with the similar process. You can also grease your hands with oil for making vada.

Step 5

In a wok or a pan, add oil and heat it up on a medium flame.

Step 6

Once oil gets heated, add the prepared vada in oil and fry it till it turns golden in color from both the sides. Flip it in between so that it should not burn.

Step 7

Fry all the vada with the similar process. Keep them aside.

Step 8

Take a serving plate, add fried vada in it and then pour whisk curd and sprinkle red chili powder, cumin powder, green chutney and tamarind chutney.

Step 9

Add some more curd and sprinkle masala then finally garnish it with some chopped coriander leaves.

Finally, your delicious aloo dahi vada chaat is now ready. Serve it and enjoy.
