Today I am going to make super delicious street style aloo chana chaat which is liked by everyone and of course this is one of my favorite street food but I usually prefer to make it at home. The taste of homemade chaat is just amazing. This is such an easy and quick recipe which you can make when you feel hungry or want to eat something spicy and tasty. Let’s know the required ingredients and its process.
Necessary Ingredients Required For Aloo Chana Chaat
- Potato = 2, boiled, chopped in cubes
- Chickpea or chana = 2 cups, soaked
- Sev = 1 cup
- Onion = 1, Finely chopped in small cubes
- Tomatoes = 2, finely chopped in cubes
- Green chilies = 2, finely chopped
- Green coriander = 2 tbsp, finely chopped
- Red chili powder = 1/2 tsp
- Salt = as per taste
- Black salt = 1/4 tsp
- Baking soda = a pinch
- Oil = 1 tbsp
- Tamarind pulp = 2 tbsp
- Lemon juice = 1 tbsp
How To Make It In Easy Steps
Take a pressure cooker, add chickpea in it and water. Also add baking soda and salt.
Put it on a flame and give 4 to 6 vessels until chickpea completely boils.
Strain the chickpea and keep it aside.
Now take a pan, add oil in kit and heat it up.
After heating up of oil, add boiled potatoes in it and roast them till a beautiful golden color appears on them.
Our preparations are done. Now take a large bowl, add boiled chickpea in it.
Also add boiled and fried potato, chopped onion, chopped tomatoes, chopped green chilies and coriander. Mix them well or toss it.
Add red chili powder, salt, black salt, tamarind pulp and lemon juice. Mix all the ingredients well.
Finally add some sev.
Your aloo chana chaat is ready to serve. Serve it and enjoy.
