Almond Milk Thandai Recipe This spiced almond milk thandai is something which goes perfect at this holi. The delicious taste of almond milk and its high protein property makes it more useful and healthy. Almonds also have vitamin E and is good for many health problems. As on the occasion of holi, I want share the recipe of almond milk thandai, almond milk is very healthy and delicious in taste and the best part of this thandai is that you do not have to cook it or boil it on a flame. You just have to grind some spices, cashews with some milk and just add the prepared mixture or paste in almond milk.

Almonds are a great source of proteins and as they have also contain vitamin E which is considered to be the best antioxidant for cancer fighter. Having 5 to 8 almonds daily makes your skin youthful and sharp minded. Also consuming almond milk is also very good. Here let’s know how to make its Thandai.

Necessary Ingredients Required For Almond Milk Thandai

Ground Spices-

  • Green cardamom powder = 1/4 tsp
  • Poppy seeds = 1/2 tsp
  • Fennel seeds = 1/2 tsp
  • Black peppercorns = 5 to 7
  • Saffron threads = 3 to 4
  • Melon seeds = 1/2 tsp

Other Ingredients-

  • Almond milk = 3 cups
  • Sugar = 3 tbsp or as per taste
  • Cashews = 2 tbsp
  • Pistachios and saffron threads = for garnishing

Instructions For Making It

Step 1

Firstly, in a blender jar, add all the ground spices like green cardamom powder, poppy seeds, melon seeds, saffron threads, black peppercorns, fennel seeds and further add half cup of almond milk in it.

Step 2

Along with all the ingredients, also add cashews in it and blend them to make a fine and smooth paste.

Step 3

Now add sugar in it and blend it till sugar completely dissolves in it.

Step 4

In a large size jar, add plain almond milk and the prepared spices paste mix well and add chopped cashews and saffron strands. Give it a nice stir.

Step 5

Store it in a refrigerator and let it cool.

Serve it chilled and you can also garnish it with some chopped nuts. Enjoy.
