Achari Paneer Pulao Recipe Today I am making a delicious recipe of paneer pulao which has achari flavor in it. This achari paneer pulao is super delicious and spicy in taste. It does not need any other thing like raita or chutney. This goes well itself. So let’s know how to make it.

Necessary Ingredients Required For Achari Paneer Pulao

  • Cottage cheese (paneer) = 250 gm
  • Basmati rice = 3 cups, boiled
  • Mustard seeds (raayi) = 1 tsp
  • Fenugreek seeds (methi) = 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin seeds = 1 tsp
  • Fennel flowers (kalonji) = 1/2 tsp
  • Fennel seeds (saunf) = 1 tsp
  • Curd = 1/2 cup
  • Chili pickle = 1 tbsp
  • Salt = as per taste
  • Red chili powder = 1/2 tsp
  • Cloves = 2
  • Cinnamon stick = 2
  • Green cardamom = 2
  • White cumin seeds = 1/2 tsp

Instructions For Making It

Step 1

Firstly in a pan or a wok, add oil in it heat it up.

Step 2

Now add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, fennel flowers and fennel seeds in it. Let them splutter for a while.

Step 3

Then add red chili powder in it and give it a mix. Turn the flame off and keep it aside.

Step 4

Now add curd in the tempering and mix well.

Step 5

Further add green chili pickle in it and also add cottage cheese cubes in it. Mix all the ingredients well and then keep it aside. In a small pan, add oil in it and then add paneer cubes in it, then fry them till they turn slightly golden in color. Add this paneer to the tempering and mix well.

Step 6

In another pan, add a tbsp of oil in it and then add cloves, cinnamon stick, cumin seeds and green cardamom. Let the whole spices splutter for a while.

Step 7

Now add the curd mixture in the whole spices pan and also add boiled rice with some salt and give it a gentle mix. Cover the lid and let it cook for 2 minutes on simmer.

Finally, serve this delicious achari paneer pulao by garnishing it with chopped coriander and enjoy.
